What type of claims do you do?

We can assist you with a claim for personal injury or death resulting from:

• motor vehicle accident,
• a workplace accident; and
• accidents on private premises.

This may include car accidents, boat accidents, workplace injuries, slip and falls, dog attacks, or an accident in a private residence, school or playground.

What happens at my first consultation with you?

We estimate this may take anywhere between 30-60 minutes depending on your matter.  You will then receive legal advice and an outline of the procedure, a range of possible outcomes and an idea of the legal costs and outlays your will incur should you choose to engage us to represent you.  There is no obligation to continue with us after the first consultation.

How do you charge your Fees in personal injury matters?

                Professional Fees

We endeavor to ensure everyone has access to legal representation.  If we take on your matter, we charge our professional fees for personal injury claims only if your outcome is successful, which is normally referred to as a “no win no fee” arrangement. 

                Outlays

Outlays, or expenses, are costs which are incurred as part of your claim, for example a specialist doctor’s report that we require for your claim, completing a search on the other driver in a motor vehicle accident so we can confirm the correct insurer, or Court filing fees to commence proceedings in Court. We meet the payment of your outgoings which are billed to you at cost price at the conclusion of your matter.

                When do we need to repay you for your Outlays?

We only recover the exact amount of the outlays we have incurred on your behalf do not charge you interest on our outlays so you will not have a nasty surprise at settlement.
