Kodi is an experienced conveyancer with extensive experience in Queensland property transactions. She assists clients with residential sales and purchases, including established properties, vacant land, off-the-plan transactions and subdivided lots.

 

Kodi manages conveyancing matters from the initial contract stage through to settlement and understands that buying or selling property can sometimes feel overwhelming. She takes a practical and organised approach to each matter, keeping clients informed throughout the process and working proactively to identify and resolve issues as they arise.

 

In her role as Conveyancer, Kodi’s responsibilities include:

 

– Reviewing contracts and advising clients about important dates, conditions and requirements;

– Managing residential sales and purchases from contract through to settlement;

– Assisting with finance, building and pest and other contractual conditions;

– Preparing Form 2 Seller Disclosure Statements and associated disclosure documentation;

– Managing off-the-plan, vacant land and subdivision transactions;

– Preparing settlement documentation and coordinating electronic settlements through PEXA; and

– Liaising with clients, solicitors, real estate agents, banks, brokers, councils and other parties throughout the transaction.

 

In addition to her conveyancing role, Kodi is the firm’s AML/CTF Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer. She oversees the firm’s AML/CTF compliance framework, including its risk assessments, policies and procedures, client identification and verification processes and staff training. As Privacy Officer, she assists the firm in maintaining appropriate privacy and information-handling practices and ensuring that sensitive and confidential information is managed securely.

 

Kodi has also completed a Diploma of Information Technology, with studies encompassing programming, information systems and cybersecurity. Her technical background provides her with a strong understanding of cybersecurity risks, data protection and secure information management. This knowledge complements her compliance and privacy roles and brings an additional technology-focused perspective to the protection of client information and the firm’s systems.

 

Kodi is known for being detail-oriented, highly organised, approachable and a natural problem solver. She takes pride in providing clear and practical communication and believes that clients should always understand what is happening with their matter and what comes next.

 

Outside of work, Kodi enjoys spending time with her partner and their two boys, who have additional needs, as well as their much-loved Cavoodle. Family life keeps her busy, and she values spending quality time together whenever she can. Kodi is also passionate about her physical health and fitness and enjoys staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
