Jeff Horsey has grown his law firm from a one-man operation into a thriving legal practice with a dedicated team of solicitors, a conveyancing department, and valued administrative and support staff. With over 20 years in private practice, Jeff is well regarded for his honest, results-driven approach and practical, straightforward legal advice.
Admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 18 March 2002, and also to the High Court of Australia, Jeff holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Throughout his career, he has developed extensive knowledge across a wide range of legal areas including family law, criminal and traffic matters, civil litigation, conveyancing, business transactions, personal injury compensation, and wills and estates.
Jeff has built the firm on the core belief that every client is unique. By listening first and setting clear, achievable objectives, he ensures that the legal process remains focused on the client and their goals. Ensuring that the client’s needs remain the focus of each and every file continues to be the foundation of the firm’s success.
Known for his no-nonsense, straight-talking style, Jeff has earned the trust of many long-standing clients who appreciate his integrity, experience, and dedication to achieving results. Jeff also enjoys mentoring early career members of the team and those who have worked in the firm as clerks and junior solicitors are well familiar with terms such as “We aren’t making hot dogs.”
Outside of the office, Jeff is a proud husband and father of four. When not at work, Jeff enjoys playing cricket for the Coomera Hope island Cricket Club (aka the Crocs) and sponsoring a number of local sporting teams, reflecting his ties to the community. Jeff spends much of his downtime at his farm. If he’s not at work, the gym, or at the Cricket Club watching his beloved Crocs, you’ll likely find him on the tractor or mowing the lawn, either at home or out on the farm.
